Often, after work, living alone, I would feel particularly lonely. One day, I visited a pet store I had long admired. Every pet in the store, from playful Poodles to elegant cats, was lovable. However, my eyes were irresistibly drawn to a giant Poodle puppy. It lay quietly in the corner of its cage, its deep blue eyes shining with curiosity and anticipation.
I approached the cage, squatted down, and made eye contact with the puppy. It seemed to sense my goodwill and gently wagged its tail. Seeing its lively and playful demeanor, I decided it had to be this one.
After completing the adoption paperwork, I carefully carried the puppy home. Everything at home was new to it, and it curiously explored every corner. I gently stroked its head and softly said, "This is your new home. We'll create many wonderful memories together."
To help Max adapt more quickly to the new home, I decided to prepare a special gift for it—a hand-painted frame. I contacted Lucy, an artist from the Lucky brand, and described the warm scenes of Max and me together. The painting featured our first meeting, with Max's bright eyes looking at me; us running in the park, with Max joyfully chasing a frisbee; and our shared meal times, with Max savoring a bone while I watched it with a smile. Every stroke in the painting was filled with my love and expectations for Max.
When I received the custom hand-painted frame, I placed it in a prominent spot in the living room where we could see it every day. Each time I looked at the frame, my heart filled with warmth. Max seemed to feel this love too, becoming more lively and dependent on me at home.
As time passed, Max gradually became an indispensable part of our family. It accompanied me through many happy times and provided comfort when I was sad. Every time I returned home from work, it would excitedly run to me and lick my cheeks; whenever I felt down, it would quietly lie by my feet, looking at me with its gentle eyes. The hand-painted frame became a testament to our shared memories, capturing every moment we spent together.
I remember once, Max fell ill, and I anxiously took it to the hospital. During that period, I stayed by its side every day, taking care of it and keeping it company. When I saw it recover and become lively again, tears of joy streamed down my face. I realized that Max was no longer just a pet; it had become the most important part of my life.
Looking back now, adopting Max was one of the best decisions of my life. It allowed me to experience the joy and happiness of living with a pet and taught me how to love and cherish every life. The specially made hand-painted frame is a precious treasure of our shared memories, reminding me of these wonderful times forever.
